Woven Harmony, the exhibit, opens at the Brazosport College Art Gallery. Woven Harmony features the tapestries of Rebecca Bluestone. The exhibit will be on display through February 22. Admission to the exhibit is free.

Woven Harmony, the concert, features classical guitarist, Robert Bluestone and tapestry artist, Rebecca Bluestone. Concert time is 7:30pm. Admission is $35 adults, $5 students and children.

Brazosport College Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, and Jazz Singers in Concert at 7:30pm. Admission is FREE, no tickets are required.

Rita Coolidge

A versatile singer blessed with a clear, pure voice, Rita Coolidge is a capable stylist in rock, pop, R&B, country, folk, and even jazz.  In 2005, Rita released a CD entitled "And So In Love" featuring sultry jazz standards like "Sentimental Journey", "Cry Me a River" and "Come Rain or Come Shine." Rita's performance with the Brazosport Jazz Orchestra features songs from her jazz CD as well as her greatest hits.

Robert & Rebecca Bluestone

Woven Harmony is a collaborative event with an exhibition at the Brazosport College Art Gallery and a concert at The Clarion. The exhibit "Woven Harmony: The Tapestries of Rebecca Bluestone" will be on display at the Brazosport College Art Gallery from January 28-February 22, 2008.

Woven Harmony, the concert, is a multi-media performance by Rebecca and Robert Bluestone. Rebecca's tapestries installed onstage, projected visual images of their home, studio, process and the landscapes and places from which they have drawn inspiration are interwoven with Robert performing his music and conversation between the two artists. They believe strongly in the non-verbal communication of music and visual art. Through the use of what Rebecca calls ‘contemplative repetition' and Robert's lyrical interpretations of classical music, they attempt to create a transformative space in the performance where the music and art can speak in their own language. This performance is sponsored by Brazosport Regional Heath System & South Texas Radiology Therapy Associates.
